Healthy Lakes Forum

Some friends and I recently attended the Healthy Lakes Forum held on Sep. 24th at the Northern Lights Event Center. Five local DFL state legislators were there to discuss issues concerning our lakes and environment.

Oct. 3 - 9 is Fire Prevention Week

Last year in Minnesota, 35 people lost their lives in fires. Most of the fires were residential, and all of them were preventable.

Tax cuts for the wealthy do not make sense
