March 26, 1925
Frank Bruckelmeyer helped S. Whitted and Rusco put up ice in Wabedo the first of the week.
Sunday afternoon the barn of F.A. Gehrke burned down and he lost hay as well as the barn.
Miss Carrie Berkness and Mrs. John Sogge did some canning for A.A. Vangen in Inguadona.

March 24, 1950
A large number of our Blind Lake community have been ill with the flu. We are glad to hear everyone is feeling better.
Ole Hagrud hauled potatoes for A. Wickham Friday and Bud Pincombe hauled potatoes for Norman Dauber at Blind Lake.
Delbert Barslow, 25, and Donna Pickett, 20, of Boy River applied for a marriage license.

March 27, 1975
The Tri-Ville Bog Stompers Snowmobile Club held a successful game night at the Vet’s Hall in Federal Dam on Friday. They had a perch fry at Kline’s resort on Saturday.
Bill Shepard, Cub Master and wife Etta, along with Ted Carpenter, all of Longville attended the annual winter Olympic Walker Pact meeting Thursday evening.
Elmer Oliver Huset, 82, died March 20th and was buried at the Island Cemetery. He was a resident of Federal Dam at the time of his death.

Northland Coach Dale Hillstrom, after 30 years at the helm of Northland’s running efforts, has made it official, he’ll retire. He was Minnesota Cross Country Class A Coach of the Year, 1997.
Marion Shepard, 74, was born in Blind Lake township to Leslie and Esther (Quinette) Shepard. He was a WWII Army veteran. He died March 20th.
Harold Mix, 82, was born in Inguadona township to Jesse and Gertrude (Estabrook) Mix. A WWII Army veteran, he served in the European, African, Middle Eastern Theater and Italian Theater. He married Leona Hausken in 1947. He was a 50-year member of VFW Post 772.
