Award-Winning Minnesota Based Author Darrell J. Pederson Embarks on Kitchigami Regional Library & Legacy Tour – April 7th - 11th

Darrell J. Pederson, local author to the lakes area and winner of Northeastern Minnesota Book Award will visit multiple library locations to engage with readers, share insights into his writing journey, and discuss “Campfire in The Basement” and his latest works “Who Will Carry the Fire.” Both books take readers back to the time of summer at the cabin and nights around the campfire.

Pederson’s books, which span over decades of family memories, and his incredible storytelling ability as a former pastor along with a deep understanding of the stories behind his real-life experiences of everyday people living one day at a time in a challenging, yet amazing world connects many to his writings. For those who grew up in Minnesota and reminisce about life at the cabin you may perhaps see yourself in his stories.

During the tour, Pederson will host author talks, an interactive Q&A session and afterwards have his books available for purchase and an author signing. The events are free and open to the public, making them an ideal experience for literature enthusiasts, aspiring writers, and community members who want to connect with a local literary author. For area book clubs these books are available in “Book in a Bag” available now.
