   Louise Ruth Daudt, age 84, of Longville, Minnesota, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Golden Horizons Assisted Living in Crosslake, MN.

   Louise was born on February 14, 1941, in St. Francis, MN, to Joseph and Berdina Thompson. She attended K-12 grades in St Francis, MN, graduating in 1959. On June 24, 1961, she married Darold Daudt of Crown, MN, and they started their family in St. Francis, MN. When Darold completed his service in the Navy in 1972, they moved to Longville, MN, where they resided for 52 years. After moving north, she worked at Ah-Gwah-Ching Nursing Home in Walker, MN, from 1972 to 1974. In the fall of 1974, she started driving school bus for the Northland 118 School District, where she continued to drive school bus for the next 41 years. She and Darold also owned and operated Darold Daudt Construction and Daudt Auction Services located in Longville, MN.

   Louise will be remembered for her dedication and never-failing support of her 5 boys, in which she never missed a football game, wrestling match or activity they were involved in. She enjoyed spending her time at their lake home on Woman Lake and was active in Church, where she was involved in the Altar Guild and Women’s Group. Memories and stories shared will be treasured by her family and all who knew her.

   Louise is survived by her 5 sons: Dale (Lynn), Robert (Karie), Gary (Brenda), Michael and James (Laurie); 11 Grandchildren: Kari, Jason, Jessica, Steven, Savannah, Ashlee, Cody, Alex, Dillon, Brooklynne and Brynlee; 12 Great-Grandchildren, along with many Nieces, Nephews and Friends.

   Louise is preceded in death by her Parents, Joseph and Berdina Thompson; her Husband of 48 years, Darold Daudt; and Granddaughter Caity Daudt.

   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Longville Community Church in Longville, MN, with Reverend Pastor John Monson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services (10:00 AM). Funeral arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Services.
