  Marcus LeRoy Siewert, age 84 of Longville, MN passed on February 23, 2025 at Lyngblomsten Care Center in St. Paul, MN. Marcus graduated from Lincoln High School in Lake City, MN.  He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Home Economics at the University of Minnesota. Marcus farmed in Lake City and was named MN Pork All-American in 1976. Retired in Longville where he enjoyed fishing, woodworking and spending time with family. Marcus is survived by his children Kim (Charlie) Schwend Columbia, SC, Darla (John) Graham Chanhassen, MN, Tamara (Allen) Burth East Bethel, MN, Renae (Michael) Biebl Lake Elmo, MN. His grandchildren Gabriel Schwend, Cole and Ella Graham, Kobey Diercks, Kyle Burth, Alaina, Ryese, Ingrid, Genevieve and Anja Biebl. Great Grandchildren Claire and Amelia Schwend. His brothers Harlan (Dallyce) and Kerwin (Sandra) Siewert Zumbro Falls, MN.  Sisters-in-law Carolyn Siewert Lake City and Leathia Siewert Menomonie, WI and many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Beatrice (Hadler) Siewert, brothers, Lorris and Maryln.

   A celebration of Life will be held on April 7th, 2025 at Shepherd of The Valley Church, 14107 Hudson Rd S, Afton MN  55001. Visitation will be at 10 am followed by 11 am service & luncheon.
