   Too soon? Never too soon for some things, that certainly applies to a casting call for Walker Bay Theater. Chances are, we are all in the “adjust to winter” mode, but we promise, spring and then summer will be on us before we are ready if we don’t start now. 

   This is a general casting call for our upcoming summer and fall season at Walker Bay Theater. We need YOU and YOU and YOU. YOU have talents that YOU are not using, and WE need YOU to join us in what promises to be the biggest and best summer in Walker Bay Theater history. This casting call is intended to draw anyone with any interest in any kind of acting or non-acting role with our “family” / team. Open General casting will be held on Thursday, January 30th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Feb. 1st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All casting calls will be held at Walker Bay Theater, 609 Minnesota Avenue in Walker - located on lower level below Subway, next to Sanford Clinic.    Our summer/ fall performance schedule include such productions as (June): “But Why Bump Off Barnaby”, a murder mystery with lots of twists and turns, sometimes comedic. (July): Kelly Grussendorf sings Patsy Cline, plus the “Pels” and MANIAC Dave (cast is full). (August): a “by popular demand” production of On Golden Pond, a thought inspiring and heart-warming family friendly, award -winning offering. Summer will not be the end, plans are in the works for an October offering, with a “Halloween” production following on the heels of last years “Frankenstein Slept Here.” The selection of this production has yet to be made but will be announced soon. Also on the “wait and see” list is a possible “Christmas” production.

   As you can see we have a definite need for a few people to step up and volunteer your talents at Walker Bay Theater.
