  Beverly Kay Bixby, age 83, of Longville, MN died December 24, 2024 in Greenville, NC while visiting her son. She was born in Brook, IN, June 29,1941, the daughter of Herman and Ardis (Beagley) Schuette.

   Beverly (Bev) graduated from Brook high school with the class of 1959, subsequently attending flight attendant school in Minneapolis, but then taking an administrative job at Honeywell, where she met her husband Gile Bixby. 

   On Jan 27, 1965, Beverly (Schuette) and Gile were married in Brook, IN at her parent’s home. They moved to Rochester where she took on administrative work at IBM in Rochester, MN where they made their home and were blessed with three children.

   Bev raised her children full time while later taking on part time work for a temp agency and a bail bondsman. She eventually finished her working days at Schmidt-Goodman in Rochester. Bev retired to Girl Lake, in Longville, MN where they made many great friends and hosted many family and friend get-togethers. She loved playing bridge and was active in the Lutheran church, where she will find her final resting place in the columbarium there with Gile and Paige.

   She was blessed with four wonderful grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Bev was preceded in death by her parents, sister Nancy, her daughter Paige and her husband Gile. Bev is survived by her children Todd (Lana), Troy (Joan) and 4 grandchildren, Dylan, Maya, Carly, Megan and her sister Jan. A celebration of life ceremony will be held in the summer at Girl Lake in Longville, MN.
