   Join us on Wednesday, February 19 from 430 to 630 p.m., at the Union Congregational Church (401 Lake Ave., Hackensack) for a special Fundraising Dinner honoring the life of Dane Robert Peterson. All proceeds from this event will go to Heather Peterson and her three children as they navigate life following the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Dane. His passing has deeply impacted our community and serves as a reminder of the preciousness of life and its unpredictability.

   Dane was a beloved member of the Hackensack community, serving with the Hackensack Fire Department for 17 years. He was known for his love of the outdoors, whether in the woods or on the water, and for his unwavering willingness to help others. Dane and Heather were deeply involved in community projects, especially through their work with the Northwoods Arts Council, where their teamwork and dedication has left a lasting impact.

   For music enthusiasts, the regularly scheduled Northwoods Acoustic Jam, hosted by Dick Kimmel, will move into the sanctuary to provide live entertainment for the evening.

   In tribute to Dane, we will host a hearty chili feed featuring a variety of toppings, salad, homemade cornbread, and several of Dane’s favorite desserts.

   We invite you to gather with family and friends to enjoy an evening of delicious food, heartfelt music, and shared community support as we celebrate Dane’s life and legacy.
