Eagles go 1-4 for the week
The Northland Eagles hosted Greenway on Fri., Jan. 17 and ended up with a 58-90 loss against the Raiders.
Anthony Robinson ended the evening with 26 points, three rebounds and three assists. Henry Holter contributed with 11 points, six rebounds and one steal, while Jamison Knapp added 10 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists and two steals.
Mon., Jan. 23 the Eagles traveled to Barnum and fell 79-93. Knapp put up 37 points for the evening and had 13 rebounds, four assists and four steals. Robinson added 26 points to the scoreboard and had two rebounds, three assists and three steals, while Holter ended the night with 12 points and six rebounds.
The Eagles then hosted Cromwell-Wright Tues., Jan. 21 and ended up with another 79-89 loss for the week. Top scorers for the evening were Robinson with 28 points, Knapp with 27 points, Tucker Kovall with 11 points and Brody Berg with 10 points. Kovall ended the evening with nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals, while Knapp had six rebounds, seven assists and four steals.
The Eagles faced another tough team when they hosted Deer River on Fri., Jan. 24 falling 88-109. Even with the loss Robinson put up 31 points, one rebound, one assist and three steals. Knapp also had a great night with 23 points, six rebounds, four assists and six steals.
Other top contributors were Berg with 17 points, one rebound and three assists and Kovall with 10 points, 9 rebounds and two assists.
Tues., Jan. 28 hosted the McGregor Mercs and broke their losing streak with a 88-82 win. Robinson had another stellar night with 38 points on the scoreboard. Knapp added another 21 points, while Holter put up 12 and Berg another 10. Other top statistics were Knap with 11 rebounds, 12 assists and nine steals; Kovall with five rebounds, one assists and three steals; Holter with eight rebounds and three steals and Berg with three rebounds, two assists and three steals.
The boys traveled to Ogilvie on Fri., Jan. 31. They will then head up to Bigfork Tues., Feb. 4 and host Mille Lacs on Thurs., Feb. 6.
