The Longville Community Fair will be held Sept. 20 at the Longville school grounds.
Misses Lillian and Ella Sanford of Trelipe spent Sunday with Mrs. Geohart at Lake Laura Lodge.
John Tucker is carrying the mail at Onigum in place of Joe Gould who is busy putting up hay.

The Marlow Mobil-In Movies will continue for the time being due to popular demand through September.
Walter C. Maeser of Hackensack was elected Cass County Commissioner to replace Aaron Zaffke who resigned. Maeser will serve in that capacity until 1950.
Mr. and Mrs. Duffney went to Park River, North Dakota to pick potatoes. Mrs. Harvey Countryman is taking care of the girls.

Mrs. Monte McKeig, Casey, and John went to Bemidji Thursday to shop and visit her mother, Mrs. Wattles.
Mr. and Mrs. Ley Kahl of Fosston, formerly of Federal Dam were in town last week.
Mr. Fred Morse took Charlie Campbell to Walker to the rest home where he will make his home.

A 7 lbs 11oz. boy, Dakota Ryan Likens, was born September 7th to Tony and Tina Likens of Longville.
Nick Burgers, #39, and Brad Ford #42, accounted for 114 rushing yards as Northland defeated Hill City 46-16.
The Longville Area Family Center will host its 4th annual “Family Fun Day” from noon to 3 p.m. on October 2nd.
