  Tom Seviola, age 86 of Remer, MN was called home to our Lord on August 29, 2024. Tom was beloved by all and is survived by his wife Patricia (Patty); sisters Martha Stewart (Howard), Gloria Jacob, Kathy  Norlin; children Teresa Knorr (Paul), Sherry Nelson (Dave), Tony Seviola (Tammy); grandchildren Kyrie Juenger (Jordan), Alex Nelson (Suzie), Rachel Gronskei (David), Madeleine Reesnes (Aaron), Caleb Knorr (Amber), Jon Knorr, Becca Wexler (Ben), Ben Nelson (Negwa), and Joe Knorr; great grandchildren, Ella, Eilidh, Madison, Thea, Lucy, Sophie, Eden, and Michael. Tom was preceded in death by his father and mother Albert and Frances Seviola; brothers Joe Seviola and Albert Seviola, and sister Patsy Soderholm.

   Tom was born and raised in Minneapolis. He attended All Saints, Sheridan Junior HS, Vocational HS, and went on to complete his education at Dunwoody Institute. Over the years, Tom worked as a chef, owned and ran a restaurant (Knapp House), and ultimately became a tile setter, working for Twin City Tile and eventually starting his own tile company, T&T Tile.

   Tom met the love of his life, Patty, and married on September 17, 1960. They lived in various places but spent a number of years living in Osseo, MN where they raised their 3 children. In 1997, Tom and Patty were called to move up north to Upper Trelipe Lake near Remer, MN. There Tom and Patty were very involved in St. Paul’s Catholic Church and in the Remer and Longville communities.

   Tom and Patty were blessed with 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Being a child at heart, Tom absolutely cherished his time with his grandkids; teaching, playing, and loving them.

   Tom loved his Lord, his family, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was in constant motion and always looking to lend a hand, provide a shoulder to lean on, and loved to share the Good News of Christ and a blessing of the Lord to anyone he came in contact with.

   There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, September 16th at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Remer, MN at 11:00 A.M. Rosary will be prayed at 10:30. A luncheon will follow the Mass and burial.

Memorials can be sent to St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Remer, MN. A Celebration of Life for Tom will be scheduled at a later date to occur in October in Minneapolis
