   Linda Renee DeHart, age 70, of Remer, MN, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at her home.

   Linda was born in 1953 to Myron and Helen Bergeron in Minneapolis, MN. She attended school at Coon Rapids High School. On July 8, 1972, Linda married Gary DeHart at Fort Hood Base Chapel. During Gary’s military service, they moved from Fort Hood to Oklahoma City, OK, Fort Lewis, WA, Fort Richardson, AK, Newport News, VA, Anoka, MN, and Fort Carson, CO before moving to Remer, MN on August 23, 1984. From 1987-1988, Linda returned to school where she received her LPN license. Linda worked for over 27 years at Deer River Hospital. She also worked as a home health aide and cleaned homes. Linda served as a hospice volunteer and was an active member of Northland Alliance Church, Remer, MN. 

   Linda was a loving mother and grandmother. Linda found enjoyment in houseplants and gardening. She was a devoted Christian and loved her friends and family more than anything.

   Linda is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tim Bergeron. 

   She is survived by her husband of 52 years, 1 month, and 19 days, Gary DeHart; children, Gary (Deanna) DeHart II of Grand Rapids, MN, Joe (Beth) DeHart of Remer, MN, DiAnna (Richard) Lucas of Remer, MN, Katie Waters of Oxford, AR; sister, ChrisAnn Philpot; brothers, Jeff Bergeron, Steve Bergeron, Ron Bergeron, and Roy Bergeron; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

   Visitation will be Saturday, September 7. 2024, at 10:00 AM at Northland Alliance Church, Remer, MN followed by the 11:00 AM memorial service. Pastor Levi Magruder will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Remer, MN at a later date.
