Reining Chaos 4H Drill Team, comprised of youth from Cass and Crow Wing Counties, won the Small Freestyle division at the MN State 4H Horse Show Drill Competition on Saturday, September 14. The team improved their regional score by 20 points, earning a total of 246 points out of a possible 260. Reining Chaos began their season in June and had just 7 weeks to prepare for their regional event on July 20. Winning a blue designation at Regionals earned them a chance to compete at the MN State 4H Horse Show. “The pressure was on because we knew they came out of Regionals rated first. They really had to have their game face on, and they didn’t disappoint,” said Coach Angie Hins. Reining Chaos 2024 competition team members are Charlotte Satterfield of Crow Wing County, Maddision Lee, Kaylee Spaid, Autumn Mongan and Peyton Mongan, all of Cass County. Photo submitted.
