   I am writing to acknowledge our wonderful community, especially our community organizations and several area citizens, in supporting the Stuart Community Memorial Park playground project. The Longville Park and Recreation Committee would like to update everyone on the progress. The committee was able to reach the goal of financing the purchase of the equipment. We have been notified that all the equipment has been delivered and checked in. The playground site is currently being staked and with the help of JJ Welk, is being excavated to allow for the added dirt to settle over the winter. The committee has been promised the installation will begin in May of 2025, depending on weather, followed by the installation of the Poured in Place. Our committee, at this time, will need our community to help one last time to do final preparation of the playground site before the equipment can be installed. More information will be announced this spring. 

Our last step is for everyone to come and celebrate the Grand Reopening of the playground so all can enjoy playing together. We hope you will join us, bring you children/grandchildren, and show your support in making our area welcoming for all.
