C.M. Shoemaker was given the contract to deliver 75 cords of sixteen-inch wood for the Federal Dam school for the sum of $400.
John Hrlichka and Valley Kotkie attended the dance at the Woman Lake school.

Gloria Ford of Minneapolis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Riley Ford, married Charles Larson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Larson of Hutchinson on February 13th.
Lloyd Ahlstrom of Remer has been quite ill with pneumonia, and Mrs. George Wilde has been operating the Gambles store.
Anna Haubrich married Gustave Zaske May 16, 1899, and they lived on their farm in Ponto Lake township from 1917 to 1939. They then purchased the Herder school and lived there until 1947.

Gloria Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brown of Remer, is a senior studying at Concordia College.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Smith were honored on their 25th wedding anniversary with an open house at Federal Dam and 25 silver dollars.
Ruth Fowler was born July 29, 1894 at Grand Island, Nebraska and died March 2nd and is buried at the Wabedo cemetery.

Crystal Chalich has a 4.0 grade average for the fall semester at Mankato State U. She is the daughter of Michael and Peggy Chalich of Sauk Centre.
