In 1986 he sold Chandler Industries and retired. Chandler and Marlene traveled for a few years then built a home in Florida. They lived six months in Florida and six months in Montevideo. In 1992 he sold the Montevideo home and purchased a lake home near Hackensack, MN. Which is his current residence.
