On December 13, the Backus Lions provided cookies and snacks for the annual Christmas party for the adults and staff at the Pine River DAC (Developmental Achievement Center). The Lions have been hosting this party for several years and the adults and the staff of the DAC look forward to an afternoon of treats and a visit from Santa. Right photo:  Santa looked a bit like Don Lohse from the Jenkins Lions and he was the hit of the day.  No one was going to pull off his beard!   When told his sleigh looked pretty dirty, he wondered if he could get it detailed by the DAC.  They told him he would have to make an appointment, but maybe they could fit the sleigh in and clean it up for him before his trip on Christmas Eve.  They do an excellent job of detailing cars as well as sleighs.
