   Your most recent issue noted the fourth reading and final passage of the Cass County ATV Ordinance.  I appreciate the work the Cass County Board put into this issue. At the second and third readings there was substantial public input to amend the proposed ordinance, oftentimes going in different directions..To their credit, the Board not only heard but really listened to, evaluated and incorporated, much of the feedback. The result is a more well thought out and enforceable ATV Ordinance. In our current climate this type of  listening and deliberation is also needed at the State and Federal level..where so often publication is only meant to fulfil legal requirements, not develop any consensus.
