Lawrence Lundgren of Longville was united in marriage to Lorretta Berg of Minneapolis on Sunday evening.
Samuel Prentiss, a resident of Federal Dam for 47 years and a retired railroad man, died this week at the age of 72.
Charles Bedeau arrived home to Onigum last week having been employed on the Iron Range for the past 2 years.

Mrs. Margaret Maeser and son Wally returned to their Webb Lake home after spending the winter in Apache Junction, Arizona.
Mrs. George Abbott and Mrs. Bob Clover participated in the Easter Cantata which was held at Walker/Hackensack school on Sunday.
Approval of a $33,000 grant to continue a program of planning to create new jobs on six Chippewa Indian Reservations in Minnesota.

Kathy Bryngleson of Longville married Daryl Dickson on Dec. 13, 1969 of Boy River where they made their home. They moved to Alaska in 1974 and returned to Boy River in 1976. She died April 12th.
Michael Hetrey purchased Bass Lake Resort after his retirement in 1965. He sold the resort in 1975. He died April 9th.
Karen Godlove, daughter of Jack and Cathy Godlove of Remer and Scott Worden are planning to be married on May 22nd.
