   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 40 golfers forming 10 teams show up to play three low net scores on each hole at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for August 29 are:

   First place team with a 202 (-14) included: Bob Sankey, 70; Tom Wierzbicki, 71; Tim Stetten, 75 and Steve Johnson, 78.

   Second place with a 205 (-11) went to: Paul Casey, 72; Randy Noecker, 73; Tom Novak, 75 and Ernie Pulido, 79.

   Third place with a score of 206 (-10) went to: Jerry Varner, 69; Jim Lewis, 72; Dallas Anderson, 73 and Rod Bothast, 81.

    Fourth place was a three-way tie with a 207 (-9) went to the teams of: KennySchleif, 72; Doug Anderson, 77; Craig Anderson, 78 and Doug Hoopman, 78. Blari Witt, 71; Mark Nichols, 72; Bab Savre, 74 and Paul Dennie, 86. Greig Payne, 71; Bob Seemann, 71; Steve Carolus, 75 and Tim Klosner, 78.

   Mike Olson, 74; Tom Wierzbicki, 78 and Jim Zierden, 78 were the low gross scorers. Jim Zierden, 69; Jerry Varner, 69 and Mike Haining, 70 were low net scorers.

   Joe Maertens was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 2’6”, Cy Sorrells knocked it to 5’8” on No. 17. Dale Hillstrom had the longest putt on No. 5, while Kenny Schleif had the longest putt on No. 13. 

   Chip-ins were made by Mike Haining for birdie, Tim Klosner for bogey, Bruce Black for bogey and Doug Anderson for bogey.
