   Douglas J. Brash, age 80 of Remer, MN, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on November 15th, 2023. Doug was born in 1943 in Oakes, North Dakota.

   Doug was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He worked at General Mills in Golden Valley, MN as a machine designer for 36 years. Doug had a keen wit and was an avid outdoorsman who loved being at his northern Minnesota home.

   He is preceded in death by parents Ben and Irma Brash, brother Clark and sister Audrey. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol Brash, daughters Jackie (Mike) Hegedus, Jodie (Jim) Bias, grandchildren Angela (David) Tam, Michael (Jenny) Hegedus, Ramona Bias, Samantha Bias, sister Ruth (Ellery) Rall, brother Mike (Tamie) Brash and great-grandchildren.

   There will be a celebration of Doug’s life in the spring.
