   Steven Gerald Spagenske, 1961 - 2023, 62 years old of Hackensack passed away May 1, 2023 after a bout with cancer.

   He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Spagenske, grand parents Peter and Agnes Babatz and grandmother Laura Spagenske.

   He is survived by his mother Alice MacQueen, sister Lourie Spagenske, sons Jacob and Jonathon Spagenske, uncle Milo and aunt Darlene Babatz and many cousins.

   Steve loved the outdoors. He enjoyed ice racing, playing darts, wood working, bow hunting and fishing with his uncle Milo. He was a loving son who helped his mother through breast cancer.

   He was a kind and giving person who would help anyone in need. He wanted his body donated to University of Minnesota Cancer Research. He is and will be missed.
