Welcome Back to the Hackensack Children’s Fishing Contest!
We started the 2023 26th Annual Hackensack Children’s Fishing Contest with a bang. We topped the first week with 103 children joining our contest. It wasn’t without its hiccups, the first week always has some, but we were able to work through those and provide a great fishing experience to all that attended. We even had a summer school program of 22 6-9 yr. olds come, many who had never fished before, catching their first fish.
The hot dog sponsor this week was Birch Lake Association (www.mybirchlake.org)

As the first sponsor for the year, they were awesome at helping to clean the cobwebs, counter tops, etc. Thank you so much for your donation and your time, it was very appreciated.
The dates for this year are every Tuesday, June 13th – August 15th, 2023 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Be early to register before it starts. We look forward to seeing everyone that can make it.
