This was Sweetheart Days in Hackensack and the crowd, fish, fun, and festivities did not disappoint. The kids showed up, all 105 of them in fact. They were catching fish like crazy including Bode B. with his 1.5 pound large mouth bass. Sweet & Salty Concessions were there selling freshly made cotton candy to those that needed a little spun sugar in their lives. After the contest, many families went to the park pavillion to participate in the Hackensack Legion Auxiliary ‘Kids Games in the Park’. After running around town collecting their candies, pop, and other goodies from the generous business sponsors, families gathered along First Street for the Sweetheart Days Parade and even more candy.
