2022/23 Ice Storm Cleanup

  We have previously publicly acknowledged our member and non-member volunteers for their 241 hours of organized help over nine days to clear the grant-in-aid trails.

   Our Board requested that we also recognize the Board of Commissioners and the entire organization for the prompt response to our request for disaster reimbursement. We completed our work Jan. 6, the Board approved a process Jan. 17, and we were reimbursed for the eligible portion of the cost Jan. 27.

   Can government really respond that promptly? Yes, Cass County did. We are grateful for some help with extraordinary costs, but more importantly we applaud the remarkable service to the citizens and guests to our County that you provide.
