Over 275 sportsmen gathered at Patrick’s on Girl Lake Sunday, Dec. 17 in an open forum meeting to discuss wolf predation of the whitetail deer population. Guest speaker and whitetail deer expert Steve Porter presented information on issues facing hunters and steps that can be taken to influence legislators to encourage federal delisting the wolf from the endangered species list. Mike Wiener who all support federal delisting of the wolf and that a proper management plan be put in place to manage the Minnesota wolf population.
