The Northland Volleyball team begins the season with two away games. The first to Lake Christian Academy on Fri., Aug. 26 and walked away with the win in five sets. 25-21, 25-17, 22-25, 16-25, 15-9.
The ladies then traveled up to Littlefork-Big Falls on Tues., Aug. 30. After going 19-25; 25-18; 10-25; 25-21 and 15-12, they walked away with another win. The ladies will travel to Kelliher/Northome on Sept. 6 and will host their first game Sept. 8 to Hill City.
“For both matches the teams were evenly matched. Camryn Graves and McKinna McKinney were great in both matches. The contributions of younger players, Charity Berg, Casey Jones, Ashlyn Schwarz, and Nora Wake helped secure wins in both matches. Starters Danika Johnson, Hope Blackburn, and Adrianna Collins had solid efforts in both victories.” Concluded Head Coach Tim Hasse.
