Friends of Library Book Sale May 28
Once again the Friends are kicking off the summer season with a book sale on Saturday, May 28th. For new-comers to the area, and with the housing boom I think there are many, we have four book sales during the summer. We use the money received from the sale to help the library purchase material for the children and adult reading programs and other needed projects.
Besides books, the library offers DVDs, music CDs, puzzles and free use of computers.
We are always in need of cashiers and help moving books outside and then returning them at 2:00 p.m. If you can spend an hour or so it would be much appreciated. We are also in need of a pickup to help move the books. Last fall at the annual meeting, the option of discontinuing the Friends was brought up for discussion. Without help, that is an option we don’t want to take. We really need your help.
Please sign up at or phone the library at 218-363-2710, where they also have book marks with the dates of sales. And remember, “Read More Books”!
Rose Jorgenson,
President of the Friends
