Team LaVallee tackles the Dubuque County Fairgrounds
With the 2022 Snocross Season underway, the second stop on the series led the race teams to Dubuque, Iowa. The Snocross series has been racing in Dubuque since the 2016/2017 season and this was the 3rd time that the event has taken place at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds. This track has become a racer favorite over the past few years with an aggressive, rough and tight terrain on Friday and with a track change for Saturday’s racing, rhythm, big air and multiple lines were featured for an unpredictable weekend of racing.

Team LaVallee’s pro rider and series fan favorite, Kyle Pallin started the two-day National taking sixth and fifth place finishes in qualifying rounds and earning a second place finish in the Pro LCQ (last chance qualifier), Pallin was able to make the Round 3 Pro final in the back row.
Off the line in the 10 minute plus two lap Pro Final, Pallin had his work cut out for him with a back row start, but as the clock started winding down, momentum and speed picked up. going from 11th place to 4th place, including a fastest lap time of the field.
“Pretty wild day of racing for me,” stated Pallin, “Had to come through the LCQ for the final. Went off the track three times in the final and ended up missing 3rd by inches. All-in-all, super pleased with the way we ended the night.”
On Saturday, for Round 4, Pallin qualified first and fourth, allowing him a gate pick in the front row for the Pro Round 4 Final. Off of the line, Pallin was pinched out and unfortunately tangled with another sled and was down a lap. He continued to push through tough visibility in the 10 minute plus 2-lap final and rounded out the weekend in 11th place.
Pallin is currently sitting in 7th place overall in the 2022 Snocross Pro Class.

He continued to ride with good speed and determination and with one minute plus two laps left, Bester turned the fastest lap across the field and finished in 4th place.
On Saturday, Bester started out the day with a seventh and second in his qualifying rounds and earning a second in the LCQ, lined up under the lights in the back row. The Pro Lite Round 4 Final, Bester started out tangled with another sled causing a yellow flag within the first turn of the 8 minute plus 2-lap final and with four minutes left, a red flag caused the race to pause and restart in a staggered line up. Bester restarted in 10th place and continued to ride strong, pushed passed multiple riders and finished out the weekend in 6th place.
“Decent weekend in Iowa,” stated Bester. “Friday I made a few passes and ended 4th in the final. Saturday, had an incident with another rider in a heat, which put me in the back row, made my way up to 6th after being in a first turn pile up and red flag.”
Bester is currently sitting in 3rd place in 2022 Snocross Pro Lite Class.
