Robert Lee Eckman

   It is with great sorrow that the family of Robert Lee Eckman announces his passing on Monday, February 21, 2022, at the Saint Cloud Hospital in Minnesota, at the age of 64, after he succumbed to a lifelong battle with unforgiving chronic health conditions. 

   As a young man, Robert faithfully served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He then went on to spend most of his career working in the manufacturing business, where he successfully owned and operated a plastic injection molding company. 

   Those who knew Robert, know that he was incredibly hard working and would have done anything to bring joy and laughter to those around him. He had a passion for music and loved nothing more than to spend time with his family.

   Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Lee Eckman & Amaryllis Mae Collins Rude, and brother, Raymond Vernon Eckman.

   He is survived by his children, Nathan Eckman & his fiancé Shana Cintella of Pine River, MN, Rochelle Toon & son-in-law Michael Toon of Bargersville, IN, and Danielle Boyte & son-in-law James Boyte of Dayton, OH, and his beloved grandchildren, Kevin Eckman, Brian Eckman, Emma Boyte, Logan Boyte, Colton Toon, and Aria Cintella, as well as three brothers and five sisters.

   Robert will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

“Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.”  Matthew 25:21

   Visitation will be Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Remer Congregational Church, Remer, MN followed by the 11:00 a.m. memorial service and military honors. Rev. Bruce Pound will officiate.
