Mary Elizabeth Neururer, age 60, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in Federal Dam, MN. She was born in Little Falls, MN on November 23, 1962, the daughter of Josephine (Schmidt) and Albert Wippler.
Mary attended school in Randall, Little Falls and Willmar. She married Brad Neururer in 1988 and together they built their home in the Federal Dam area and had two more children, Corrine and Wil. Mary did it all, from raising children, canning, waitressing, making Christmas wreaths, to cleaning cabins and houses. She even finished her career with Northern Wastewater Operations. After her kids were raised, Mary spent the rest of her life with the one she loved the most, her horse Flicka. She and Flicka joined the “Horsin around Gang” and would travel all over together. Mary loved to fish, hunt, raise puppies, play darts, cornhole, drink beer, having fish fry’s, BBQs, and her favorite crayfish boils where she would eat for hours. As everyone knows, she liked to burn stuff. Who could forget her infectious laugh and lime green outfits. Mary was also a huge Wild hockey fan, but the most important thing of all to Mary was her family.
The family that Mary joins again are her parents; one brother Patrick, and one beautiful daughter, Corrine.
Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 34 years, Brad, sons; Steven (Stacy), and Wil (Karisa), son in-law; Andy Erickson, grandson; Logan, and grandkids Natalie and Oliver.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 15, 2022, held at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Walker with Father Timothy Lange officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be held in the family burial grounds later in the spring.
Mary’s care has been entrusted to the Northern Peace Funeral Home of Walker, MN. Online condolences for the family may be given at www.northernpeace.com
