Richard (Rick) Honerbrink

  Richard (Rick) George Honerbrink, 69, of Longville, MN, passed away on April 14, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer.

   Rick was born on March 18, 1953 to George and Marie in St. Paul, MN. After Rick graduated from Highland Park Senior High in 1971, he joined the Air Force. 

In Rick’s early 20s, he started his career in the grocery industry. He worked for Knowlan’s/Festival Foods (multiple locations) for most of his career. He also worked for Reed’s Market (Crosslake) and Tabaka’s Family Foods (Longville). 

  Rick was a long-term member of the Masonic Masons. He also was a member of the Longville Lions and Chamber of Commerce. In addition to his community involvement, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family. 

   Rick was preceded in death by his father George Honerbrink and brother Raymond Honerbrink. He is survived and will be missed by his mother Marie Morse; son Josh (Mikailah) Honerbrink; daughter Julie (Eric) Lofgren; grandchildren Cody Honerbrink, Ashley Tilke and Dylan, Julian and Jeric Lofgren; brother Randy Honerbrink; brother Robert (Kathy) Honerbrink; sister Meg (Jerry) Peterson; sister Sandy (Todd) Elison; brother Mark (Cathy) Morse; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; significant other Phyllis Eck. 

  A Celebration of Life will be held July 31st in Longville, MN.
