Tom Severson, 69, of Remer, MN passed away peacefully in his sleep with his wife by his side.
Tom was born in Minneapolis to Bill and Virginia Severson. He made his living in the cities as an operator engineer. He was a member of the Local 49ers for over 40 years. He operated his own excavating company for ten years in Ham Lake, MN. Tom enjoyed what he did and took pride in his work.
In 2007, Tom and his wife moved to Remer to fulfill the dream of living Up North. He loved the outdoors and new adventures. Tom was a member of the Eagle Country Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed riding the trails and volunteering to maintain them. He was an avid snowmobiler in the winter. Through the rest of the seasons, he enjoyed riding in his side by side and taking trips with family and friends. Tom was always smiling, enjoying good friends and good times.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Severson, brother, Steve and sister Jeanne.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gale Severson; sons, Shon (Heather); Ryan (Sarah); daughter, Paige (Jason) Bentley; mother, Virginia Severson; brother, Doug; sisters, Sandra (Greg); Sharon. Grandchildren, Haley, Abby, Kyra and Conner.
Tom was larger than life. He was so loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of his life will be held in Remer, Saturday, October 9th, from 2-4 p.m. at the Eagle
Country Snowmobile and ATV Club.
