On September 14th we landed at Longville as our second stop on the Annual Air Tour sponsored by the In Flight Training FBO based at Flying Cloud Airport, Eden Prairie.

We, my fellow aviators and I, would like to express our appreciation for the use of your city airport facilities and, more important, to the Longville pilots and others who welcomed us with open arms.

Those people provided services running the Spot Landing Contest, marshaling the twenty-five or so airplanes in and out, helping with fueling, and providing (free) transportation from the airport to the restaurant. They were a joy to be with and share experiences.

We wish to extend our heartiest gratitude to those people who gave their time, trouble, and resources to making this year's Air Tour a resounding success.

I'm looking forward to making Longville a stop once again on my Saturday aerial wanderings before the snow flies.[[In-content Ad]]
