What to do with that Christmas tree

To the Editor,

Residents of the Hackensack area can dispose of live Christmas trees and wreaths by putting them in the Hackensack City Park near the north pavilion. The trees will be used to create a bonfire for Back to Hack on January 25th - prior to the fabulous fireworks show over Birch Lake.

Both the community bonfire and fabulous fireworks have been moved to Saturday night , which historically had been on Friday night.

Place undecorated trees or wreaths in the pile and then remember to come join in the fun on January 25, the bonfire, free hot dogs and fabulous fireworks. And then move on to the fire hall for game show night - fun for adults. It is recommended that children under age 18 do not attend the game show night.[[In-content Ad]]
