Freshman Hannah Myers earned all conference-honors placing fifth in a competitive field of runners. The top seven runners earn all-conference status. Eighth through tenth are all-conference honorable mention. Hannah has been the War-Eagle's top runner throughout most of the season. She not only earned all conference honors but ran an impressive personal best time of 16:53 over the 4 kilometer course. Eighth grader Kristina Harder ran tough to earn all-conference honorable mention honors, placing eighth with a personal best time of 17:01. Running strong to just miss all-conference honorable mention honors was eighth grader Kayci Trout in twelfth place with a time of 17:15. Also running in the top seven for the War-Eagle girls was Ali Juntunen in 25th place with a time of 18:44, Lindsey Otte in 31st place with a time of 19:20, Senior Ashley Trout in 34th with a time of 19:53 and Abigail Burch in 37th place with a time of 21:05. Alexandra Burch placed in the top ten in the JV competition, earning JV all conference honors. The girls team placed a respectable fourth.[[In-content Ad]]
On the boys side, Senior Jake Spartz ran the race of his career, running a personal best time of 19:03 over the five kilometer course. He narrowly missed all-conference honorable mention honors with a 14th place finish. Jake has been the War-Eagles top runner throughout most of the season, and has been a team leader both on and off the course.
Also showing impressive performances for the boys were Adam Machen in 22nd place, and Peter Daigle in 30th place. Jerome Glass, Jordan Perkins, Dylan Thompson, and Haden Evans ran strong as a pack to place 33rd, 34th, 35th and 36th respectively. The boys team placed 5th.
