Vera Juanita Rhoades, 83, passed away peacefully at home May 16, 2016 with her family by her side.

Juanita was born, in Houston, Texas on April 6, 1933. She graduated from Houston High School and moved to Roswell New Mexico where she met Bob at the Walker Air Force Base, where she was a waitress. They were married March 8, 1952. Stayed in Roswell New Mexico for 1 year. Then moved to Minnesota. Juanita stayed with Bob's parents as he finished his Air Force career in Alaska. Then they settled in Dayton, Minnesota until 1991 when they moved to Remer, MN. They were married for 64 years and had 4 children. Bob, Patty, Debbie and Kenny. Juanita was loving wife, mother, aunt, grandma, great grandma and friend. She loved waitressing, serving people, her flowers, gardens, quilting and spending time with Bob, family & friends.

Juanita is survived by her husband Robert Rhoades of Remer. Sons, Robert Rhoades Jr. of Coon Rapids, MN, children Nicole (Ryan) and Daniel (Jenn), Son, Kenneth Rhoades of Anoka, MN. Daughters, Patty Lange (Rhoades) and husband Mark of Longville, MN, children Jessica (John), Nathan (Lori) and Amanda. Daughter, Debbie Stephani (Rhoades) and husband Allen of Clearwater, MN, children, Jennifer (Josh), Kjersten (Tanner) and Kayla (Joe). 17 great grandchildren.

Juanita and Bob's family would like to say thank you for all the support, thoughts and prayers during this time and we will always remember her for her smile and cookies.

A celebration of Juanita's life will be held Saturday June 18th, from 1-3:30 P.M. at Bob and Juanita's home. Come visit and share your memories. 3365 State Hwy 200 NE, Remer, MN 56672
