A political activist has a beef, an issue with what-every-they find rubbing them the wrong way. So be it, you deal with it, but leave the rest of us alone to deal with our own issues as we see fit. This is what liberty and a Republic form of government is all about.

When you stop and think of the capacity to reason. What happens to reason when a mob, a faction if you will, is formed by the political activist? How well does mob rule fit within your life when your ability (your liberty) to reason for yourself is collectively usurped? This is the fallacy of democracy and the suicide of a nation because reason is not free to combat error anymore. This is why Benjamin Franklin answered the ladies question... "What kind of a government did you give us sir? And Franklin answered, a Republic ma'am if you can keep it." There is only one way to lose our Republic form of government and that was to vote it away and the democrats advocated just that through the 17th Amendment.

Look at the things the progressive democrats (the political activists) have given us. By manipulation of low information voters; a monster of a federal government is involved in every aspect of our lives and a monster of debt piling up at $85 billion a month due to public liabilities and promises demanded of the "activists" and all of it calculated from the social sciences.

Sociology today is nothing more than mob science. Just exactly how scientific is mob rule when money is no object and fairness and social justice are just emotionally provoked whims of mobs?

The demographic facts are over-whelming. You can have a Ph.D. in political science, economics, be elected to the highest offices of the land and be a complete moron at the same time.
