Teresa "Terrie" M. DuBe' passed away on Tuesday, November 15th at her home in the rural Longville area of pancreatic cancer. She was born on January 14, 1953 in Minneapolis, MN to D. Robert and JoAnn (Lowe) DuBe'. She grew up and attended school in the Bryn Mawr area of Minneapolis, moving to Maplewood in her sophomore year and graduating from North St. Paul High School in 1971. She worked various jobs in the restaurant business, and worked many years for Quality Metals in Minneapolis. Terrie had a passion for the outdoors and most weekends were spent somewhere in the north country. When weekends were no longer enough, Terrie moved to the area full time and purchased a home near Longville. Terrie was very determined and often worked more than one job at a time developing many friendships along the way. She was employed by the City of Longville at the time of her passing.

Terrie loved being outside and was happiest when she could be out on Leech casting for muskies. Many were familiar with her "Short and Sassy" guide services. She was an active member of Muskies Inc. and served as their International Secretary for many years. With her fishing partner and friend of many years, Diana Worline, she has fished the PMTT since 2005, part of a successful female team in this predominately male sport. They had fished together as recently as September 2016. Terrie also had a special place in her heart for animals and took in numerous rescue dogs and cats over the years. Terrie was active in her community, donating countless hours of her time to the many charities and organizations in the area.

She will be lovingly remembered by her parents; her sister, Shelli (Rick) Isle; three brothers: Bob (CJ) DuBe', Dave (Kelli) DuBe' and Matthew Ludke; special family friend, Greg Pirritano; and dear friend, Jeff Peterson; as well as many nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.

Terrie was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Marie in 1971 and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

An open house celebration of Terrie's life will be held at the Dennis Funeral Home in Walker on Saturday, December 3rd from 1 - 3 p.m. Memorials in Terrie's name may be gifted to the Grand Itasca Hospice, Leech Lake Legacy Rescue, or the Paws + Claws Rescue & Resort. Arrangements by Midwest Cremation Association, Walker, MN.[[In-content Ad]]
