Storm offensive line dominates, allows for 479 rushing yards

It's said that the harder you work, the luckier you get. The Hill City/Northland Storm would put hard work up against Friday the 13th and the Vikings from Littlefork-Big Falls. After a stinging loss to Silver Bay the previous week, the Storm was able to right the ship and get the offense rolling - cruising to a 56-14 win in Hill City.

"Our offensive line did a great job and allowed us 479 yards rushing," commented Head Coach Adam Johnson.

Vinny Ruschmeier ran for 158 yards with a pair of touchdowns and 32 yards receiving. Dane Sepin had 119 yards rushing with four TD's; Spencer Procopio added 89 yards and a TD; Johnathan Gowell, 26 yards receiving and a touchdown; Tucker Holm added 49 yards carrying and 32 yards receiving while Cameron Wake threw for 33 yards and a TD.

On the defensive side, Sepin posted five solo tackles and 15 assists; Procopio, five tackles and seven assists; Ruschmeier, three solos, five assists and an interception; Holm, three solo and five assisted tackles with an INT; and Colton Rabey added two solo tackles, four assisted and a sack.

"All around, we had a great team effort, the guys played awesome tonight." Concluded Coach Johnson.

This week the Storm will travel to Kelliher/Northome on Wednesday, Oct. 18th to wrap up the regular season.[[In-content Ad]]
