Get your sneakers ready! We are on the move to end Alzheimer's Disease. The annual Walk to Remember will be on Saturday, Sept. 22th at May Creek Senior Living Campus in Walker from 10 am. to noon. This is a time when senior service providers, area businesses and those affected by Alzheimer's will join forces to raise funds and awareness for the work of the Alzheimer's Association in our region.

Those who would like to participate in the walk are encouraged to form teams and challenge others in raising funds for the Alzheimer's Association. Purple t-shirts, designed by Joel Mensch of Heritage Custom Framing, can be purchased to help raise funds as well. Because of the generosity of local businesses underwriting the cost of the t-shirts, all proceeds from the sales will go directly to the Alzheimer's Association.

Shirts will be available in advance at Heritage Arts & Gifts in Walker, the Nuthatch in Walker, at May Creek Lodge in the office, or can be purchased the day of the walk. Call Melanie at (218) 547-7513 for more information.
