Roger William Batdorf, age 84, of Remer, Minn., died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at his home. Roger was born in 1926 in Shovel Lake, Minn.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Alma Batdorf and sisters, Doris and Betty.

He is survived by - His wife of 60 years, Gladys;

three Daughters, Gail (Eric) Ford of Remer, Pam Hooper also of Remer, and Kerri Jo (Michael) Bunker of Grand Rapids, Minn.; four grandsons, Adam, Mike, Brian and Craig; one granddaughte, Rachel; two special great-granddaughters, Carlee Jo and Jenna Marie; two brothers , Oscar Batdorf of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Doug of Sartell, Minn; two sisters, Helen Carr of Hill City, Minn., and Lorraine Nordberg of Mesa, Ariz; and many nieces and nephews

Services will be held at a later date.
