Roe Allen Burrell, 78, of Pine River, MN, passed away Thursday February 1, 2018 (on what would have been his Mom's 100th birthday) in St. Cloud, MN.

Roe was born to Clarence and Vivian (Dale) Burrell in Davis City, Iowa on August 22, 1939.

Roe is survived by his wife of 52 years, Terry of Pine River, MN, 5 daughters Lori (Terry) Baker of Oklahoma City, OK, Debra Stonebraker of Oklahoma City, OK, Stacy Burrell of Avon, MN, Jamie (Wayne) Kendall of Remer, MN and Deana (Brett) Goble of Hackensack, MN; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Ronald (Teresa) Burrell of Utah; sister Sue Keyser of California; and five nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son and great-grandson.

Roe served 10 years in the Army. While stationed in Anchorage, Alaska he met and later married Terry McCastle on March 13, 1965. After the Army, Roe went on to be a cross country truck driver for 45 years. They lived in Illinois, Arizona, California and Minnesota. They spent many years living on Blackwater Lake near Longville, MN and later moved to Pine River, MN.

Roe will be remembered for his infectious smile, stories and love he had for his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

The family will have a private ceremony to celebrate his life.[[In-content Ad]]
