Robert R. Filloon
b. Feb. 10, 1924 - d. Nov. 19, 2010
He was born February 10, 1924 in Goldfield, Iowa to F. Russell and Emily Filloon, and had been a resident of St. Joseph for 43 years.
On March 2, 1946, he married ThÈrËse Bodourian who preceded him in death on April 29, 2010. During World War II, Mr. Filloon, who served in the Army, was stationed in Western Europe. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and the American Legion Post #359. He also had a great love for fishing.
Mr. Filloon was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Dorothy Buettner; five brothers, Dick, Doyle, Dayton, Bill and James; one son, Robert J. Filloon; one grandson, Ryan W. Zeiger.
(Survivors:) two daughters, Janet Zeiger (Ron); Jacqueline Eagan (Roy); grandchildren, Rachel Zeiger, Paula Noble (Chris), Jill Eagan, and Roy K. Eagan; great grandchildren, Liam Hinrikus, Aubrey Noble; two sister-in-laws, Violet and Kay Filloon; sister, Marge Quade; brother, Dean Filloon (Darlene); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
(Services) 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 29, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The Family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, November 28, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. Entombment Memorial Park Mausoleum.
