WHITE BEAR LAKE - Villwock, Robert J. Villwock, age 87, of White Bear Lake, Minn., passed away on June 4, 2010.

Preceded in death by sister, Margaret Snyder.

Survived by wife, Dorothy; children, Peter Villwock of Plymouth, Minn., Jenny Villwock (Don Lueck) of Madison, Wisc., Robin Villwock (Kevin Jewell) of White Bear Lake, and Laurie Villwock (Norrell Nelson) of Roseau, Minn.; grandchildren, Tasha Owens (Brian), Alexander Jewell, James Nelson (fiancé Tiffany Wulff), and Benjamin Nelson; and brother Arthur Villwock of Milford, Ohio.

Robert received his D.D. at the University of Chicago Divinity School. He was campus pastor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Miami University, and Bemidji State University. He served the following churches; Pioneer Presbyterian Church of Chatfield, Minn., First Presbyterian Church of Red Lake Falls, Minn., and Longville Community Church of Longville.

Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, at Silver Lake United Methodist Church, 5399 Geneva Avenue N., Oakdale, Minn. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.

The Reverend Villwock was a volunteer subject for the semi-starvation experiment at the University of Minnesota. Memorials preferred to starvation relief organizations.[[In-content Ad]]
