Bob, "Bobby," was born September 13, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Clifford and Mildred Breese where he grew up and attended Steinmetz High School and visited the Remer, MN area during the summers. In 1955, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he enjoyed playing football and serving until returning home where he met and married the love of his life, Joyce Kimmel, and they moved to California in 1965.
He held various positions during the ground-breaking years of the cable industry in California, starting out as an installer, to chief technician, and becoming a supervisor. He retired early in 1981 and moved to the Remer, MN area in 1997.
Bob will be remembered for his great sense of humor, story-telling, and his love of fishing, as well as his special hat, big hugs, and his love for his family, especially his grandsons, and his pets.
Preceding him in death were his parents; infant son, Billy; brother, William; sister, Shirley; and nephew, Richard.
Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce of Remer, MN; two sons, Daniel of Remer, MN and David of Azusa, CA; and two grandsons, Nathaniel and Elijah of Avalon, CA.
A Celebration of Robert's Life will be held Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a time of sharing beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the Breese's home, 7713 Co. Rd. 65 NE, Remer, MN 56636. Please bring a dish to share for a potluck and a feather in memory of Robert.
