Ridgewood Women's Golf League played at Ridgewood Golf Course on Wednesday, July 10. There were a total of 55 women playing 18-hole or nine-hole rounds.

Twelve golfers competed for the Game of the day in nine-hole play, Two Best Net. Results were:

First place team, coming in with a 62, included: Pam Harrison, JoAnne Walsh and "Patty Putter."

The second place team, finishing with a 65 was the team of: Jennifer Lewis, Vallory Wallman and Sandy Weins.

Kay Ferris had low gross, with 53. Pam Harrison's 66-33=33 gave her the low net title.



In 18-hole play, 43 ladies played game of the day AC/BD Tow Best Net. Results are:

First place team, with a 124 included: Millie Grand, Jan Marr, Diane Peukert and Karen Swan.

Second place team, decided on a tiebreaker, with a 125 was the team of: Marj Dahlager, Mona Emerson, Pat Gill and Shirley Seiffert.

Third place team included Barb Ricker, Dorothy Rose, Mary Jo Schleif and Maureen Warmuth.

Tied for low gross, each with a 92, were Mary Hagelie and Barb Ricker. Tied for low net were Ruth Lerom, 109-41=68; and Barb Ricker, 92-24=68.

Chip-ins were made by: Peg Atzen, on No. 13; Barb Fisher, on No. 14; Mary Kay Googins, on No. 12; Pat McKee, on No. 14; and Deb Verly, on No. 12.

Birdies were made by Kathy Newton, on No. 15; and Diane Peukert, on No. 5.[[In-content Ad]]
