Some 70 golfers made up 18 teams for Ridgewood Senior Men's Golf League play on Tuesday, June 25, at Ridgewood Golf Course, in Longville.

League results for June 25:

Three teams tied for first place, each finishing with a score of 192 (24 under). First place teams included: Max Stoutenburg, 76; Roger Swan, 69; Ted Carpenter, 70; and Roger Dorff, 66.

Also in first place was the team of Buzz Francen, 72; Steve Plante, 71; Steve Johnson, 68; and Bill Brown, 71.

The final first place team included: Wally Wallman, 67; Larry Kampa, 73; Gary Scherer, 66; and "Billy Bunker," 70.

The fourth place team, with a score of 193 (23 under) included Mark Houghton, 79; Roger Frank, 76; Dave Owen, 70; Dennis Kringle, 63.

In fifth place, coming in with a team score of 194 (22 under), was the team of Ed Hammersten, 74; Greg Oestreich, 65; Jerry Brenhofer, 70; and Ed Conway, 77.

Finishing in sixth place, with a 195 (21 under), was the team including: Chris Hagelie, 66; Bill Herrick, 69; Bob Timmins, 71; and Tom Hay, 75.

Wally Wallman captured low gross for the day with a 78. Low net honor went to Dennis Kringle with his 100-37=63.

Jim Lewis was closest to the pin on No. 17. Wally Wallman made the longest putt on No. 9; and Jerry Brenhofer sank the longest putt on No. 18.
