Ridgewood Ladies Golf League results for May 2, May 9
Game of the day for nine-hole play was Team Net, with eight participants. League results were: first place team, with a 163 net included Kathy Kovar, Judy Nordquist, Kathy Plante and Val Wallman.
Nine-hole low gross winner was Sandy Weins; Val Wallman had low net.
Team Net was also the game of the day in 18-hole play, with 45 ladies playing. Results were: first place team, with a net score of 277, included Sue Brenhofer, Barb Fisher, Maureen Warmuth and "Suzy Sandtrap."
Second place, with a 277 net, went to Barb Ricker, Avis Savre, JoAnn Kampa and "Brenda Bogie."
Third place team, determined in a tie-breaker, and a team net of 278, included Sara Hildreth, Norma Jansen, Harriet Mouw, and Kathy Newton.
Low gross winner was May Hagelie. Maureen Warmuth's tallied low net with 97-37=60.[[In-content Ad]]
Birdies were made by Vicki Fagerlee, Sue Fowler, Carole Houghton, and Pat McKee.
Chip-ins were made by Carole Houghton and Rozie Plotnik, on No. 2; Betty Randorf, on No. 11; Kathy Newton on No. 16 and Vicki Fagerlee, on No. 17.
There were 50 ladies present for play at Ridgewood Ladies Golf League play on Wednesday, May 9.
Garm of the day on the nine-hole course was Fewest Putts, with 13 golfers. Game of the day winner was Judy Nordquist with 13. Kathy Kovar had low gross with a 60. Low net honors went to Pam Harrison with 64-31=33.
In 18-hole action, with 37 ladies golfing, game of the day was Ridgewood 666. First place team, with a team score of 119, included Rosemary Berg, Jill Loeffler, Cathy Peterson and "Suzy Sandtrap."
The team in second place, with a 120, included Faith Peterson, Rozie Plotnik, Avis Savre and Jean Westermann.
In third place, with a team score of 121 included: Carole Houghton, Kathy Joiner, Betty Randorf and Barb Ricker.
Low gross winner was Mary Hagelie. Barb Fisher and Cathy Peterson tied for low net, each with a 63.
Birdies were made by Mary Hagelie, Carole Houghton and Cathy Peterson.
Chip-ins were made by Gail Carpenter, on No. 4; Shari Pretzer, on No. 7; Sue Brenhofer, on No. 15; and Barb Ricker on No. 18.
