Richard Miller, 82, of Longville, MN passed away at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Baxter, MN Friday, August 17, 2018.

Richard was born August 8, 1936 to Herbert and Virginia (Sauerberg) Miller in Chicago, IL. He served in the U.S. Air Force 4 years and was recognized as an Eagle Scout. He worked as a lineman for Commonwealth Edison for 36 years before retiring in Longville. Richard was a member of the Longville Community Church, where he served as a deacon; was a member of the Men's Fellowship; and he was a past member of the Longville Lions Club. He loved to fish and bowl; and he was a big college basketball and NASCAR fan.

Richard is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia "Patty"; sisters, Merrikay Armour, Marriann Vani; brothers-in-law, Ronald (Carol), Michael (Sharon), Kenneth (Cindy); sisters-in-law, Julie Miller, Sherry Andersen, Carol Miller; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert; mother, Virginia; step-father, Edward Kipple; and four brothers, Kenneth Paternoster, Herbert Miller, Daryl Miller, and Dean Miller.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Longville Community Church. The Rev. Duane Brown will officiate. Midwest Cremation Association is providing arrangements. (www.midwestcremationassociation.com)
